If you should need to return a product, due to hygiene standards and regulations, we can only accept unopened and unused items within in 30 days of purchase date. Please proceed with returns by phone or email. Gift Certificates are non-refundable. Again, we gladly accept returns on unopened items in their original condition, and/or on opened items that are clearly defective. Returned items can only be accepted within 30 days of the original shipment date. If we have determined the item is defective by our standards, please enclose a copy of your receipt and note the reason for the return. We request you incur the cost of shipping the item back to us. Katie's Goddess Line products cannot accept returned items if more than 25% of the product has been used. Your credit card will be refunded as soon as we receive your returned shipment. Please allow up to 30 days for your refund to be processed. Original shipping charges are not refunded in the case of a return, exchange or credit. If an item was shipped to you in error or if an item was damaged during shipment, please call our Customer Service department at 860-984-1205 during the hours M-F, 9am-5pm, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. We will immediately ship you the correct/replacement product and instruct you how best to return the unwanted/damaged product to us.
It will take two business days for your package to reach any U.S. destination. We use the United States Postal Service (USPS.com) for National shipping. Use the following site to track your package here.
The shipping confirmation email we sent you will include your tracking number. We may change the shipping box you selected to Priority Mail Flat Rate to make it more cost effective for you.
We do not use synthetic stabilizers, parabens, chemicals, or waxes. We do not formulate our light and fluffy body butters with beeswax as they are vegan. As a result, our deeply moisturizing, natural products packaged in are sensitive to temperature changes. During very warm weather above 80 degrees, products may soften or even melt in transit as they sit in warm mail trucks, mailboxes or on front porches. In the summer months, we freeze products for 24 hours before shipment and subsequently ship all products with complementary freezer packs. Additionally, more protective packaging in the heat of summer is used to ensure products do make their journey safely. Since melting is a natural reaction to heat and we have no control over the conditions during transit or delivery, please understand that we cannot be responsible for melted products.
We have the same problem as companies who make and ship high-quality chocolates during summer months! International Customers: Summer melting is especially a problem for international customers. Orders travel far distances in warm trucks and shipping holds.
On sunny or warm days, when you open you package, it is best to refrigerate specifically the All-Natural Toothpaste and Whipped Shea Crème before opening the container. If you open items, especially those in wide-mouth jars, to check if melting has occurred, they may spill out and make a mess- and you will lose some of your new product, which cannot be refunded as the container is now open. The exquisite quality, collagen improving healing properties, and anti-aging vitamin E of our products are not affected by melting. If you Whipped She Crème melts and cools, the consistency will change. It will become more like a body balm and more dense.
The whipping process adds small air bubbles (just like whipping cream) that increase the size, lighten the density, add fluffiness (like whipping egg whites for angel food cake), and make the texture more silky for optimal application. If a whipped product melts and the volume decreases due to the air bubble being gone. So although the jar was filled to the top when it was shipped, if the butter melts, there will be less volume in the container. You will still have the same amount of product. The container will look half full.
For the Whipped Shea Crème, some customers like to scoop out the butter and whip it back up with an electric whisk beater. It makes a fun DIY craft! Before you re-whip it, the butter needs to have returned to a solid state.
For Katie’s Goddess Line All-Natural Toothpaste, once you have let the unopened container rest for a few hours in the fridge and the organic extra-virgin coconut oil is solid. At this time, it is safe to open the lid. We recommend keeping the container closed, placing it at room temperature, below 76 degrees, to rest. This allows the coconut oil to be malleable. After a few hours, use a folk to mix the toothpaste. The mixture will look like thick pudding. Ensure the contents are mixed well. Place in your bathroom, below 75 degrees, for use.
